A medium-sized pharma company sought support to track EU5 pricing and access changes affecting their portfolio. Through biweekly updates and monthly reports, I went beyond monitoring to assess the likelihood of impact, identify key stakeholders, and define immediate versus long-term mitigation actions. This provided the critical "early warning" backbone to anticipate risks and adapt the global strategy.

To drive social impact and improve access in LMICs by stimulating industry competition, the Access to Medicine Foundation benchmarks pharma performance. As a core researcher, I refined the methodology and performed the analysis for pricing and access strategy indicators to identify best practices and gaps. This produced rigorous data standards leveraged by global investors to pressure companies into improving their strategies.

I’m Elisabetta, founder of Eliriia, an independent consulting practice in health policy and market access. My mission is to help healthcare stakeholders navigate the complex international health policy landscape, bringing effective treatments to patients and strengthening access to care.
My expertise is built on a decade of experience spanning the entire healthcare journey. I have worked in hospital pharmacy, handled clinical research and pharmacovigilance in CROs, led global health research at the Access to Medicine Foundation, and delivered strategic market access consulting at Inbeeo.
To remain grounded in the reality of healthcare delivery, I continue to practice as a freelance pharmacist in Italy. Alongside this, I lead Tipi da diabete, a peer community inspired by my family’s experience with type 1 diabetes.
The common thread across all these roles is a single goal: bridging the gap between high-level strategy and real-world patient access.
